Travel Consent Letters
$25.00

tis’ the season for travel!

Travelling is stressful enough – be sure that you are prepared for border officials asking for the required form for minors. This letter ensures the legitimacy of the consent being offered by the non-accompanying parents or guardians.

Why would you need this? When only one parent/guardian is travelling with a child. If you’re met with a border official who is strict, they may require you to find a Notary near the airport [charging you at a rush price point] in order to be allowed to travel.

A formal, official letter written by a Canadian citizen or legal resident to their foreign relative. This form is to confirm that the party residing in Canada is willing to accommodate the visitor in their house and initiate the visa process.

Why is a Notary needed? This letter is sent to the Canadian embassy or consulate outside of Canada when applying for a temporary resident visa, and will need to be signed by a notary.
