Travelling with a Minor?
Consent Letter
If only one parent is travelling with the child or ig someone else (e.g. grandparents, family friend, etc) is accompanying the minor, a notarized consent letter from the absent parent(s) or legal guardian(s) is often required.
This letter should outline details of the trip and the consent parent’s contact information.
Birth Certificate
It’s advisable to carry a copy of the child’s birth certificate.
Travel Authorization Form
Some countries may have specific forms or requirements for minors travelling without both parents.
Check the regulations of the destination country and, if necessary, complete the required forms.
